Our opinion
It is a proposal that is full of good will, Pikmin Bloom is far from equaling Pokémon Go, A Harry Potter Wizards Unite and even enters. Of course, the gameplay present in the 4 games is very different if it is not your common point to have to walk and leave home to advance your adventure.
Let s say that the game seems extremely empty compared to the other works of Niantic. On the other hand, the concept is original: having to walk to cover flowers around the world (and be able to see the flowers deposited by the other players).
Actually, it must be said that Pikmin Bloom is an application more than a complete game like Pokémon or Harry Potter. Works with the smartphone pedometer, you can leave it in your pocket or in your bag and then take it in your hand for a few seconds to observe the flowers that remain on your way and the Pikmin pots with which you have crossed.
The rest can be done from home: Have fun with the creatures in augmented, downtown, and make them grow. Fortunately, a good progression system is also present in the proposal, which allows you to complete different missions and collect bonuses and other achievements.
Pikmin Bloom also provides a plus compared to other Niantic applications: it is an authentic memories mine. Thus, we know very well how many steps we gave up a day (with a notion of goal too) but also where we went and what photos we take.
